Notesaic - A Collaborative Note Builder
Instructions
Setting Up
- Assuming this gets approved-goto the contest's website (www.worldsbestapp.com) to load Notesaic into your computer (note: this MUST be done in Internet Explorer and you MUST have MSN Messenger installed on your computer.)
- Open up a chat window with the person you want to work with
- Click on Activity from the drop down menu and select 'Notesaic'
- Invite the other party to start using Notesaic
- Wait for the application to load
Operating
- To Add an item click on the 'Add Item' button
. You can
begin to type in the highlighted space. Any area with a green dashed means that you're
editing that area. - If you want to delete an item click on the "Delete"
button to the right of the note. - To edit any item click on the 'edit' button
and after
it's surrounded with a green
border you can begin to change it. When you are done click on any
other space or click the 'save' button
. As you are making
changes the other person will see the note highlighted indicating that the
note is 'locked' and will
not be able to make changes to the item that you are working on until you
are done. - TO CREATE A NEW LINE PRESS SHIFT and ENTER at the SAME TIME.
- To change the order of the items simply click and drag an item
to any position of the list. The display for the other side will
automatically change to reflect the new order. - To email your items to someone; click on the 'Email' button
and then fill in the email address and click 'Send'. - You can increase your workspace by shrinking the legend
and the dictionary
by clicking on their respective
buttons. - You can close and end your session by click on the 'X' to the top
right of the activity window or closing the conversation Window.
